I am currently 70% of the way through the 10 day treatment, and I am relieved to say that I haven't experienced any side effects from this medicine, aside from some IBS flare-up (feeling like I have to use the bathroom, but nothing happens).

It feels like there MAY be some yeast overgrowth starting, but I have been doubling on my good probiotics to combat the death happening to my microbiome.

The dental infection is getting better but by day 4 I developed a horrible yeast..now spotting and pain. dentist prescribed me 500mg amox 3 times a day for a week and dexamethasone 4mg once a day, for 3 days.

everything until monday was completely fine, other than a little nausea.

on monday night, i kept tossing and turning and couldn't sleep the entire night.

i assumed it was the amox, but i wasn't completely sure as the other nights i slept fine. was so tired on wednesday i didn't even go to school.

finally finished my dose on wednesday.thursday night i only slept for 3-4 hrs and waking up every hour or so.

it's friday today, so i hope i'll be able to get at least 8 hours. this is definitely because of the amox, because i never have sleeping problems. Had a ear infection pretty severe and it took a while to start working and was concerned but after the 3rd day i have started to feel better, having vertigo for 3 days was insane but after i started to feel better

Went away with topical creams after 10 days of treatment! Now, I have a 10 days course of Augmentin to treat mastoiditis!

It's day 4 and I am starting to get nauseous which is scaring me! I am applying topical cream for vaginal yeast infection to try to avoid that but I really am terrified of all the horrible side effect! Antibiotics save lives and treat dangerous infections but it's too bad that they come with such terrible side effects!

I am currently taking 500mg Amoxicillin 3 times a day every 6 hours due to a root canal infection and the side effects are horrendous.

Extreme stomach cramps with heartburn, bloating and nausea. Would not recommend to anyone especially if you already suffer with gastrointestinal problems. I took this drug for sinus infection, although it seemed to be helpful after day four i started to get these striking pains in my heart and major dizziness, i thought i was going to faint. While this is somewhat working for me for my dental related issues I have been getting mild/moderate allergies, like loose skin in the back of the throat, dizzy/lightheaded spells, itchy skin, anxiety without reason and at worse problems breathing.

I have had the amoxicillin moxed with augmentin before and it worked great for my sinus infection.

So when I had gotten another again, they gave me just plain amoxicillin. I do get severe headaches then and there and a little heartburn but its also hard to tell since I had the 6day steriod pack.
